Muhrim A’zamxo‘jayev is one of the more experienced figures in Uzbekistan’s online journalism. In 2011 he co-founded the news site kun.uz together with Xushnudbek Xudoyberdiyev, Diyor Imomxo‘jayev and Qahramon Aslanov. He has been active in sports journalism, particularly football, and is known for Gazeta.uz columns criticising the state financing of football clubs.
In the early 2020s he served as editor-in-chief of Daryo.uz. In March 2021 reports that he had been summoned by law-enforcement bodies were widely discussed in the press; in December of that year he received the “Legal Advocacy High Achiever” badge. A December 2025 Lolazor episode announced that he had moved to a new job.
A resident since the podcast’s very first episode, where Xushnudbek introduced him as “journalist Muhrim A’zamxo‘jayev”. On Lolazor he speaks most about media, football, the fate of newspapers and magazines, and everyday city problems, and is popular with listeners for his wry asides.
